# How do I change my Faaaster password?

Changing your password goes through the **reset procedure**: you receive a link by email, and you choose a new password.

## Steps to follow

1. Log out, or open the login page.
2. Click **Forgotten password ?**.
3. Enter your account's email address.
4. Open the email you received and follow the link.
5. Choose your new password.

> **This procedure also works when you know your password.** It isn't only for forgotten passwords: it's the standard way to change it.

## If you signed up with GitHub

You don't have a Faaaster password: you log in through GitHub. Use **Login with GitHub**, and manage your password from your GitHub account.

## If you don't receive the email

- Check your **spam** folder.
- Make sure the address you entered is the one on your account.
- Start the procedure again: only the most recent link is valid.
