# Can I host something other than WordPress on Faaaster?

**It's possible, but handled case by case**: send your request to support, who will look into the feasibility with you.

## Why it isn't automatic

Faaaster is built around WordPress, and not just to serve pages. Everything that gives the platform its value follows from that: the inventory of plugins and themes, vulnerability detection, backups taken before every update, passwordless login to the admin area, integrity checks, the AI assistant.

A site built on another CMS would work technically, but **without any of that**. That's why the answer depends on your project: what's acceptable for a custom application isn't for a site that will need to be maintained over the long term.

## What holds true in every case

The creation flow only offers **WordPress** sites, built from blueprints. A non-WordPress project therefore can't be set up on your own.

> **Describe your project to support rather than the technology.** What matters in deciding is what the site needs to do, who will maintain it, and for how long.
