# How do I create a Faaaster account?

Go to the sign-up page, enter your first name, last name, email address and password, then click **Next**. No credit card is required at this step.

> **Important** — after signing up, **verify your email address** using the link sent to you right away. If it isn't verified within 24 hours, access to your projects is blocked until the address is verified.

## Create the account

1. Open the Faaaster sign-up page.
2. Fill in **First Name**, **Last Name**, **Email** and **Password**.
3. Click **Next**.

If the password is too short, the form shows "Password must be at least 8 characters long".

## Sign up with GitHub

The **Sign up with GitHub** button creates the account from your GitHub account, with no password to choose. It's also what later lets you push code to your sites from your repositories.

## What's next?

After signing up, two steps follow:

1. the **About you** screen, which creates your organization;
2. the creation of your first site.

In the meantime, open the email you received and click the link to **verify your email address**: without verification, access to your projects is blocked 24 hours after signing up.
