# How does the Faaaster partner program work?

The partner program rewards freelancers and agencies who bring clients to Faaaster. You can view it from the **Commissions** screen, in the **Account** menu.

> **The partner program also opens other doors**: hosting is **free for partners** on a quota of development sites (3 by default), and the **development agent** is reserved for them.

## The Commissions screen, in three steps

### 1. Share

Two tools are provided:

- **Your tracking link**, to copy;
- **Your discount code**, dedicated to you, which shows the discount percentage granted to your referrals.

> **The discount code is a sales argument, not just a tracker.** Your client gets a discount when subscribing, and the referral is credited to you.

### 2. Track

Four indicators, updated automatically:

| Indicator | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Generated traffic** | The visits generated by your link. |
| **Registered users** | The accounts created as a result. |
| **Converted clients** | Those who actually subscribed. |
| **Your earnings** | The accumulated commission balance, in euros. |

The screen points out that real-time earnings are not immediately billable: they are subject to a **30-day** validation period.

The gap between **Registered users** and **Converted clients** tells you where you're losing people: many sign-ups without conversions points to client support, few sign-ups points to the visibility of your link.

### 3. Invoice

Commissions aren't paid out automatically: you **invoice** them. The **Billable amount** is displayed, ready to copy, and the **How to invoice my earnings?** link takes you to the detailed procedure. You can invoice us as soon as this amount reaches **50 €**.

## How much a referred client earns you

**30% in the first year, then 10% after that** — applied to the amount of the hosting plan subscribed.

The schedule depends on the billing period chosen by your client:

| Their billing period | What you receive |
| --- | --- |
| **Yearly** | **30%** paid immediately, then **10%** at each renewal. |
| **Monthly** | **30%** per month for the **first 12 months**, then **10%** on the following monthly payments, **with no time limit**. |

> **The commission never stops.** As long as your client stays with Faaaster, the 10% keeps coming in — it's recurring income, not a one-off referral bonus.

The exact amount is shown to you **before sending**, when you transfer a site to a client: the transfer flow calculates your commission based on the plan and billing period chosen.

> ⚠️ **Dev plans don't generate any commission.** They're free: there's nothing to commission. Only paid plans — Perso, Pro, Business — count.

## Becoming a partner

Partner status is **granted by Faaaster**: it can't be activated from the interface. Contact us to apply.

Three things are expected:

- a **freelance or digital agency business**;
- **first clients**;
- a **website** presenting your business.

> ⚠️ **Admission isn't automatic.** It remains at Faaaster's discretion, even when all three conditions are met.

> **Payment** — your commissions are paid within 30 days of receiving your invoice.
