# How do I read my Faaaster site's performance measurements?

The site's **Performance** tab shows the **Measurements** from the latest PageSpeed test: **Response time** and the **PageSpeed** score. The resources your site uses are shown in the **Monitoring** tab, **Latest resource measurements** card, and the PHP recommendations in the **Server** tab.

## Latest resource measurements

This card sits at the top of the **Monitoring** tab. Each row carries the definition the interface gives for it:

- **Site memory** — "Memory used by your site at the time of measurement, compared with the limit allocated to it."
- **Site CPU** — "Computing power used by your site at the time of measurement, compared with what is allocated to it."
- **PHP memory peak** — "Memory used by the diagnostic request, compared with the configured PHP limit."
- **PHP workers** — "Active PHP-FPM processes, compared with the maximum worker count."
- **OPcache memory** — "Memory used to keep precompiled PHP code available."

A row whose measurement isn't available for your site isn't displayed.

The "measured at …" note gives the time of the reading. **Refresh** starts a new reading, **All metrics** opens **Resource details**.

## Performance tab settings

Below the measurements, the **Performance** tab groups the **Cache** and **CDN & edge cache** settings.

## Quick actions

Two buttons are available at the top of the **Performance** tab: **Clear cache** and **Restart**.

## The Measurements block

It relies on **Google PageSpeed Insights**, the same tool that is publicly available, and shows a **score out of 100** as well as the **TTFB** — the time before the first byte is received. The tiles show the desktop version; on hover, **Details** opens the **PageSpeed** window, with the **Desktop** and **Mobile** buttons, the TTFB and the First Contentful Paint, Largest Contentful Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift metrics.

The score is read in tiers:

| Score | Reading |
| --- | --- |
| **90 and above** | fast |
| **50 to 89** | needs improvement |
| **Below 50** | slow |

So is the response time: **fast** under 300 ms, **adequate** under 800 ms, **slow** above that.

The "latest PageSpeed test" note, next to the **Measurements** heading, reminds you where the figures come from; the screen doesn't show the date of the test.

> **A missing measurement isn't a bad score.** On a new site, no test has run yet: the display shows a dash.

> ⚠️ **Don't judge your site on a single reading.** The PageSpeed score varies from one test to the next depending on the load at the time. It's the trend that counts, not the single data point.

## Recommendations

The **Server** tab, **PHP recommendations** card, analyzes your measurements and suggests quantified actions: raising the number of PHP-FPM workers, the PHP memory limit or the OPcache limit. Each one shows the measured value and the calculated target. A **Configuration** recommendation is applied with the **Apply** button, after confirmation, without a restart.

When the target exceeds your plan's limit, or the resource can't be adjusted in **Server** — the environment's memory, for example —, the recommendation carries the **Upgrade** badge: its **View plans** button opens the **Subscription** tab.
