# How do I start over on a Faaaster site?

**There's no "reset" button** in the Faaaster interface. To start again from a blank WordPress, you create a new site and archive the old one.

## Steps to follow

1. From your **Projects**, click **New site**.
2. At the **Website parameters** step, leave the blueprint set to **Blank WordPress website** — it's the default choice.
3. Finish creating the site.
4. If the old site had a domain, reconnect it to the new one from the **Domains** tab.
5. Archive the old site from its **Tools** tab, **Danger zone** section — an action reserved for the organization's owner and admins.

> ⚠️ **Do it in this order.** The new site has its own subscription: make sure the old one is actually canceled so you don't pay twice, and only archive it once the domain has actually been switched over.

## If you only want to clear the content

Starting over isn't always necessary. Depending on what you're trying to do:

- **Undo an update that broke the site** → restore a backup. A backup is taken automatically before every update.
- **Get WordPress back in shape without losing content** → the **integrity check** compares your files with those published on WordPress.org and flags what has been modified.
- **Clear only the database** → import a blank SQL dump from the **Tools** tab.

> **A reset is irreversible, and archiving deletes the backups.** Before anything else, export files and database from **Tools › Backup & migration**.
