# Set up your Blog Sidebar

1.  Select **Blog** on your site’s navigation menu. Now that you’re looking at your main Blog Page, select **Customize** from the WordPress Toolbar.
2.  Select **Widgets** from the list of options in the Customizer, then **Sidebar** (if you do not see a widgets option here, chat with us so we can help).  What is a widget?
3.  Add, remove and rearrange the widgets, leaving only those that you would like to appear in your Sidebar:

Notice that any changes you make in the sidebar on the left will be previewed on your website if you are viewing the blog page and have opted to include a sidebar.

**To add a widget:** click **+ Add a Widget**, select any widget from the list of options that displays.

**To edit a widget:** click on the widget you would like to edit. The settings for the widget will appear below. Edit the settings.

**To remove a widget:** click on the widget you would like to remove. Scroll to the bottom of the widget’s settings and select **Remove.**

**To reorder the widgets:** drag and drop widgets to rearrange them.

Once you are done, **click Save & Publish.**
