# How do I get a professional email address with Faaaster?

The **Emails** section of the left menu lets you subscribe to an email service and create mailboxes on your domain name.

## What the plan includes

The basic **Standard Email** plan includes:

The subscription page lists as included: **Built-in antivirus**, **SSL/TLS encryption**, **Redundant storage**, **Automated configuration**, **Attachments up to 25MB** and **Catch-all and redirects**. Your mailboxes can be used from **webmail** or from any mail client compatible with **IMAP / SMTP**.

## Adding storage and mailboxes

The service scales in tiers of **+4 GB and +2 mailboxes**, at the same price as the base plan: **24 € excl. VAT / year**, i.e. **2 € excl. VAT / month**, per tier.

The **Choose your resources** list lets you pick the total volume, from 4 GB up to **96 GB** — i.e. **48 mailboxes** at most. The corresponding number of mailboxes and price are displayed just below.

> **The quota is global, not fixed per mailbox.** You freely split the space between your mailboxes, and you can readjust it at any time. A busy `contact@` mailbox can therefore get more than a `billing@`.

## Subscribing

1. Open the **Emails** section of the left menu, then click **Subscribe to an Email plan**.
2. If you manage several organizations, choose the **Organization**.
3. Enter the **Domain** on which to create the addresses.
4. Choose the volume in **Choose your resources**.
5. Click **Continue to payment** and pay on our provider's secure page.

> **Your billing information is required.** Without it, the screen displays "You must first set up your billing information." and the payment button stays grayed out.

The wizard then moves on to **DNS configuration**, which the service needs in order to work.

> **The domain doesn't need to have been bought from Faaaster.** An external domain works: you'll simply create the MX, SPF and DKIM records at your registrar. If it's managed by Faaaster in the same organization, the **Apply automatically** button sets them up for you.

## What if I already have Prime?

**Prime** plans already include **4 GB and 2 mailboxes**, with no separate subscription. The same tiers then let you extend them.
