How does the Faaaster free trial work?

The Dev plan is free for 30 days. It gives you access to a complete WordPress site, with 2 development branches, daily backups, an HTTPS certificate and 10 GB of storage.

The Subscription tab: the current plan and the available plans.

Contents

The main limitation: a site on the Dev plan is paused when nobody visits it. It restarts on demand.

What's included

  • 1 WordPress site
  • Server resources ×1
  • 2 development branches
  • Daily backups
  • HTTPS certificate
  • 10 GB of storage

What's limited

  • The site is paused when it gets no visits, and must be restarted.
  • The Dev plan is designed as a private work site, not as production hosting.
  • Only one free trial per account: if you've already used it, the Dev card in the creation flow shows No more free spots, and a new Dev site is paid from the moment you subscribe.

The exact rule

  • 5 days without use → the site is paused;
  • for a development environment: 30 days without use → it's archived (an alert is sent at 23 days).

What counts as "use": opening the site's page in your Faaaster dashboard. Visits from your visitors to the public site don't count.

Checking where you stand

The renewal date is shown in the site's Overview, in the Hosting block, on the Renewal line.

At the end of the 30 days

At the end of the 30 free days, the site is archived. It can still be restored: just subscribe to a plan to bring it back online.

Upgrading to a higher plan

From the site's Subscription tab, the Change plan section lets you switch to Perso, Pro or Business at any time: click Select under the plan you want. The prorated amount of the current plan is credited automatically. This change is reserved for the organization's owner and admins.
