How do I add or change my bank card on Faaaster?

From Settings in the Account menu, the Payment method section offers Add payment method.

Adding a card

  1. Account menu: choose your organization in the selector if you have several, then Settings.
  2. Payment method section.
  3. Click Add payment method and enter your card details.

The Payment method section, with the Add payment method button.

You enter your card in the payment provider's secure interface. Never share your bank details by email or chat, including with support.

The saved card

Once the card is saved, the section shows its type, its masked number and its expiration date. It's the card that pays for your hosting subscriptions, your domain names and your Email services.

Replacing an expired card

Once a card is saved, the section's button reads Update: it reopens the provider's secure page, where you enter the new card. It replaces the old one for all your subscriptions.

⚠️ An expired card eventually puts your sites on pause. The sequence is mechanical: the charge fails, the invoice becomes unpaid, the site is stopped. Faaaster warns you along the way — the Unpaid invoice alert goes out before the pause, and the Payment method missing event is notified if the saved card is deleted without being replaced — but the safest habit is still to update your card as soon as you renew it.

This is especially true for domain names: a domain that isn't renewed because of a failed payment is lost when it expires, and becomes available again for anyone to buy.
