How do I reuse a Faaaster site as a template?

A site can serve as a blueprint — a template from which to create the next ones, already configured. When you create a site, the creation flow starts from a blueprint: "Empty WordPress Site" by default. The Change template button only appears if your organization has its own blueprints; otherwise, start from an existing site with cloning.

Choose a blueprint when creating a site

  1. From your Projects, click New site.
  2. At the Website parameters step, under the blueprint preview, click Change template (the button only appears if your organization has its own blueprints).
  3. Choose the template you want, then continue creating the site as usual.

The first step of creating a site, with the default blueprint: Empty WordPress Site.

This is also how cloning works: duplicating a site amounts to using it as the blueprint for the new project.

Turn your own site into a blueprint

⚠️ This feature is no longer available. You can't publish your own site as a reusable blueprint.

To start from an existing site, use cloning: it produces exactly the same result — a new project preconfigured from the chosen site — without going through a published template.
